The missile doesn't explode, it cuts! ChOp! ChOp! ChOp! ChOp!

How can a missile chop, it is primarily designed for explosions right? Let me give you some facts before jumping into judgements about the missile and the US

A missile, also known as a guided missile, is a guided airborne ranged weapon capable of self-propelled flight usually by a jet engine or rocket motor. Missiles have four system components: targeting/guidance system, flight system, engine and warhead. They are just like an artillery shell but has the capability to self propel and strike the target. Missiles are definitely one of the greatest advancement in Engineering, innovation and aero understanding, but how we used our innovation? In killing people for the political and economical misunderstanding between two GOVERNMENTS. How we used it? Depending on the scales of payload used and the variant of the missile(like surface-to-surface and air-to-surface missiles (ballistic, cruise, anti-ship, anti-tank, etc.), surface-to-air missiles (and anti-ballistic), air-to-air missiles, and anti-satellite weapons), the explosion perimeter of a missile is about 3 Km on an average. Not to forget the civilian causalities, property damage, air pollution etc... The target might be eliminated, but the aftermath issues are immense and intolerable.

The U.S. government has recently developed a specially designed, secret missile for pinpoint airstrikes that kill terrorist leaders with no explosion, drastically reducing damage and minimizing the chances of civilian casualties, multiple current and former U.S. officials said. This missile is a modified version of an already existing design called AGM-114 Hellfire. Named R9X, popularly called as the Ninja bomb, this missile has an inert payload, that plunges pound of metal within a small target perimeter instead of creating an explosion. The metals are nothing but Blades...ya you read it right. It slices and chops anything that comes in its way. Due to the targeted action of this variant of missile, it can eliminate as many targets as possible probably when deployed in a terrorist camp, places where we want maximum deaths. It also eliminates the leader of the camp specifically with guided cameras and facial recognition with the capability to guide the missile accordingly.

This idea was lauded by many tech enthusiasts and human activists. It surely is a good move. As it is just a makeover to the already existing design, its ideation, design and manufacturing won't take long unlike conventional track of 15+ years for new designs.
