ARAVIND KARTHIK M

Hello there!

I am Aravind, a second year Aerospace graduate student studying at Georgia Institute of Technology, Georgia, USA. I am passionate about revolutionizing future travel by bringing people together and making space a better place to explore with advances in hypersonic sustainable aerial and space propulsion. We are mere speckles in the vastness of this void. What possibilities do we unlock provided a new vantage point with faster propulsion and advancement in interplanetary travel?

Incessant inquisitiveness has always been the nucleus of my life — nothing thrills me more than questioning the conventions to create the extraordinary and push the barriers of science to change the facade of future travel

I hope this space helps you to know me better professionally and personally! Please reach out to me if you too share my goals and interest to revolutionize future air & space travel. I am always on the lookout for meaningful opportunities and collaborations!

GEORGIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY '24

MASTERS OF SCIENCE AEROSPACE ENGINEERING

Certification in International Security and Systems Engineering

MANIPAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY '22

BACHELOR OF TECHNOLOGY (HONS.), AERONAUTICAL ENGINEERING

Minors in Aerodynamics with honors in AvionicsCGPA 9.41 | Department Silver medalist

My research interests lies in understanding the effects of Hypersonic Aerothermodynamics and its integration with Artificial Intelligence, Scramjet Propulsion, Plasma-Physics, Plasma-induced turbulence, Hall thrusters, Shock-Boundary Layer interaction, Design Optimisation

What I care about?

Hypersonic technologies and faster space propulsion systems will change the way humans travel and explore, however, even if one makes a breakthrough in realizing high-speed air and space travel, the very technology becomes futile if it remains unsustainable and economically inaccessible to the people who use it.

This gave me the impetus to contribute to high-speed propulsion technologies and to do so with a critical lens on how swift, sustainable and economical could they be made.

How to develop future propulsion systems keeping our Earth and Society in mind is my aim and passion
